Davis, P.E.;REFERENCES: <br />Public Works Director <br />1p <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION <br />Valid petitions have been received from at least 66.70 of the <br />property owners of the following streets <br />1) 38th Avenue between 10th and 12th Street (Preliminary cost <br />$26,100.00) - 76% in favor <br />2) 11th Court South Relief Canal to 4th Street (Preliminary <br />cost (44, 276.00) - 67% in favor <br />3) 7th Court S.W. between 3rd Street S.W.and 4th Street S.W. <br />(preliminary cost $19,089.50) - 81% in favor <br />4) 8th Avenue S.W. between 3rd Street S.W. and 5th Street S.W. <br />(Preliminary cost $20,197.00) - 67% in favor <br />Preliminary assessment rolls have been prepared for the paving <br />and drainage improvements. The total costs of these projects <br />is approximately $109,662.50. There is approximately $110,000 <br />to be set aside in FY 83-84 budget for Petition Paving Account <br />No. 703-214-541-35.39. <br />These roads will be constructed as revenue is received from other <br />already paved roads. <br />Also, advertisement of the Public Hearing and notification to the <br />Property Owners has been performed. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />After consideration of the public input provided at the Public <br />Hearing, it is recommended that motions be made to: <br />1) Adopt resolutions, providing for the paving and drainage <br />improvements for each petition paving project, subject to <br />the terms outlined in the Resolutions. <br />2) Approve preliminary assessment rolls including any changes <br />made as a result of the Public Hearing. <br />3) Allocate $109,662.50 from the Petition Paving account to <br />fund this work. <br />4) The Road and Bridge Division be notified to begin construction. <br />42 <br />
