He felt <br />the people had already paid for this service in their <br />property costs and then they got charged additional for <br />connection charges. Now they want a third addition. Mr. <br />Lunka felt we must be careful in the future and look at <br />other options. <br />The Chairman determined that no one else wished to be <br />heard. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />(4-0) closed the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Bird stated that he felt that he needs <br />time to digest what has been presented and more legal <br />coaching. <br />Attorney Brandenburg noted that both the parties want <br />the opportunity to submit briefs. He suggested the Board <br />should close the hearing today, take the matter under <br />advisement, and give one party time to submit a brief and <br />the other party time to submit a response. <br />Considerable discussion followed as to the time periods <br />to be allowed for all concerned - the attorneys, staff, etc. <br />It was generally agreed that a ninety day period, allowing <br />30 days each for submission, response and staff analysis, <br />would be sufficient. <br />Commissioner Bird felt if there were some way these two <br />entities could get together and somehow agree on what is the <br />most cost effective facility and come to an agreement as to <br />what it would be and what it would cost, then determining a <br />67 <br />
