JAN 18 1984 ANN <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unani- <br />mously (4-0) approved the Interlocal Agree- <br />ment with the Town of Indian River Shores <br />re the North Beach Water Company and Bayside <br />Utilities water and wastewater franchises. <br />55 PAL -L-886 <br />Said Agreement will be made a part of the Minutes when <br />fully executed and received. <br />WITHDRAWAL OF ITEMS FROM AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright announced that he would withdraw <br />his added item in regard to Courthouse security from today's <br />agenda and take it up at the next meeting. <br />Chairman Scurlock withdrew his Finance Advisory <br />Committee report and Transportation Planning Committee <br />report from today's agenda. <br />JAIL COMMITTEE REPORT <br />Commissioner Lyons briefly reported that as it now <br />stands, the Jail Committee has communicated their concerns <br />to the architects re the high cost of their design and has <br />suggested modification of our plan; they are waiting for a <br />response. Since we did not have a solid figure, it was the <br />recommendation of the Jail Committee that the bond issue be <br />delayed for a September ballot. <br />GROWTH MANAGEMENT (MEETING AND OUT -OF- COUNTY TRAVEL) <br />Commissioner Lyons informed the Board that he has been <br />requested by State Representative Patchett to attend a -- <br />public meeting January 27th in Fort Pierce in connection <br />with the activities of the County in regard to the Barrier <br />Island Planning. He continued that Mr. Patchett is on <br />the Community Affairs Committee and he is holding <br />hearings to indicate what the counties are doing to help <br />themselves. <br />Commissioner Lyons stated that he gets the <br />go <br />
