Davis, P.E., REFERENCES: <br />Public Works Directorl <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Valid petitions have been received from at least 66.70 of the <br />property owners of the following streets <br />1) 10th Court from South Relief Canal to 2nd Street (preliminary <br />cost $18,888.00). 68% Property Owners <br />2) 142nd Street between 81st Avenue and 110th Street (Preliminary <br />cost $17,820.00) 70% Property Owners <br />Preliminary assessment rolls have been prepared for the paving <br />and drainage improvements. The total costs of all projects is <br />approximately $36,708.00. There is approximately $62,262.00 <br />now set aside in FY 83-84 budget for Petition Paving Account <br />No. 703-214-541-35.39. <br />Also, advertisement of the Public Hearing and notification to <br />the Property Owners hdve been performed. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNVING- <br />After consideration of the public input provided at the Public <br />Hearing, it is recommended that motions be made to: <br />1) Adopt resolution, providing for the paving and drainage <br />improvements for each petition paving project, subject <br />to the terms outlined in the Resolutions. <br />2) Approve preliminary assessment rolls including any changes <br />made as a result of the Public Hearing, <br />3) Allocate $ $36,708.00 from the Petition Paving account <br />to fund this work. <br />4) The Road and Bridge Department be notified to begin <br />construction. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />'1) Resolution <br />2) Preliminary Assessment Rolls <br />3) Copy of Advertisement <br />4) Copy of Typical letter to Property Owners <br />DISTRIBUTION <br />1) Albert VanAuken, Road and Bridge Superintendent <br />2) Michelle Terry, Engineering Department <br />- _ 40 No <br />
