MAR V 1984 <br />Bea 51 mcE 467 <br />PROPOSED ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT RE WATER MAIN <br />EXTENSION & ELEVATED STORAGE TANK - S.R. 60 <br />Attorney Brandenburg noted that developers who are <br />planning to build out along Route 60 agreed to pay for <br />engineering of a utility line out to I-95 if financing of <br />such a line is feasible. It appears it is feasible, and the <br />developers have received a commitment from the bank. The <br />Attorney noted that there are some blanks on Page 2 of the <br />proposed agreement with the Engineer as to the date when the <br />engineer is required to submit his report. He did not know <br />what agenda that should be scheduled on, but this will be <br />coordinated with the completion schedule. <br />ON MOTION BY Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Agreement for Engineering <br />Services with Sippel, Masteller, Lorenz & <br />Hoover, Inc., re Indian River County Project <br />U84 -I (Water Main Extension and Elevated <br />Storage Tank - 20th Ave. and Oslo Rd. to <br />Kings Highway and S.R. 60 to Rt. I-95) and <br />authorized the signature of the Chairman. <br />(Said Agreement is on File in the Office of the <br />Clerk.) <br />EXTENSION REQUEST BY HUMANE SOCIETY <br />Attorney Brandenburg reported that the Humane Society <br />has asked for another extension of their contract with the <br />County re land on South Gifford Road. They have been <br />proceeding very well with financing, site plan approval, <br />etc., and it is scheduled for a March 22nd Planning <br />r <br />Commission meeting.
