This <br />is why they are asking for the extension. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, to accommo- <br />date the Humane Society and agree to a 30 <br />day extension of their contract. <br />Chairman Scurlock commented that he had received two <br />calls from people connected with the Humane Society re the <br />availability of water. He felt this had been settled some <br />time ago. <br />Administrator Wright assured him that the water will be <br />available and felt that he had made this very plain. <br />Chairman Scurlock further noted that he believed there <br />had been some discussion about moving the site to where a <br />portion of the structure would be within 4' of the old <br />landfill, and, of course, this is impossible. He just <br />wished to make sure we are clear on this. <br />Administrator Wright stated that the architect is <br />taking care of this, and he did not believe there is any <br />problem.
