Commissioner Wodtke stated that he was not really con- <br />sidering that, but he believed to deal with the audit, they <br />should know something about the budget too. He felt possi- <br />bly we could have a member from the Taxpayers Association. <br />Chairman Scurlock believed the Commissioners can give <br />this suggestion some thought, and stated he would bring this <br />up at the next Finance Advisory Committee meeting. <br />Administrator Wright referred the Board to the response <br />made to the audit comments on the Board operation by staff, <br />which is included towards the end of the Report. <br />Commissioner Wodtke brought up the comments made re car <br />allowances and noted that for about 10 years during audits <br />we have been back and forth about the car allowance <br />situation and whether to keep a log or not keep a log, etc. <br />Commissioner Lyons believed we are getting into detail <br />here that we have not had an opportunity to look at and did <br />not feel we could go into all this in depth at this time. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird,_ the Board unanimously <br />accepted for the record the Comprehensive <br />Annual Financial Report for the Fiscal Year <br />ending September 30, 1983. <br />Said Comprehensive Annual Financial Report is on file <br />in the Office of the Clerk. <br />Chairman Scurlock thanked Finance Director Ed Fry for <br />his work with this report and stated that the Board is well <br />pleased. <br />Director Fry thanked May Zima for their cooperation and <br />assistance, and Clerk Freda Wright also expressed her <br />appreciation of the work done by Finance Director Fry. <br />41 <br />MAR 211984 PAcF 48 <br />
