Krages _ �.'1�Cj�� City Clerk Confirming our conversation of March 13 concerning the proposed schedule for openings of the Barber Bridge, as a voting member of the IRC Transportation Planning Committee the following views are offered for consid— eration: 1. I am in favor of restricting the bridge openings during peak vehicular traffic hours to once dur- ing each time period, Monday through Friday, preferably at the mid -point of the time period. I believe this restriction should apply through- out the year and not to just the tourist season. 2. I am also in favor of restricting bridge openings at all other hours to four (4) times per hour, preferably on the quarter hour, beginning on the hour. He believed that the bridge tender gets very independent about opening the bridge.
