APR <br />4 <br />1994 <br />BOOK <br />56 <br />FADE 588 <br />DISCUSSION <br />RE SELECTION OF PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT <br />FOR <br />TRAFFIC IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 4/3/84: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the DATE: April 3, 1984 FILE: <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />THROUGH: Michael Wright, <br />County Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Traffic Impact Fee Ordinance - <br />Recommendations for Professional <br />Consultant Selection <br />FROM: <br />James W. Davis, P. E REFERENCES: <br />Public Works Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The selection committee, comprised of the following members: <br />Jim Davis <br />Robert Fitzmaurice <br />Robert Keating <br />Michael Orr <br />Chris Paull <br />Cliff Suthard <br />met on April 2, 1984 to receive formal presentations from three professional <br />transportation firms which were short-listed from a group of nine (9) firms <br />submitting proposals for the subject project. <br />The committee unanimously agreed to.the following prioritization to begin <br />formal negotiation of a contract for services: <br />1. Barton-Aschmann Associates, Inc., <br />Tampa and Miami, Florida <br />2. Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., <br />West Palm Beach, Fl. <br />3. Diaz-Seckinger Associates, Inc., <br />Tampa, Fl. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />The selection committee recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the above priorities and that the County Administrator, County Attorney, <br />Public Works Director and Planning and Development Director begin negotiating <br />with the first firm, Barton-Aschmann Associates, Inc., for a contract for <br />professional service after which a recommendation to the Board of County <br />Commissioners would be prepared. <br />There are no funding considerations at this time. <br />46 <br />
