A P R 4 1984 BOOK 56 ' FACE 594 <br />DISCUSSION RE GOLDEN SANDS OCEANFRONT PROPERTY OPTION <br />The Board reviewed the following letter dated 3/20/84: <br />GOLDEN SANDS INTERNATIONAL, INC. <br />P.O. Box 2893 <br />Pompano Beach, Florida 33062 <br />USA <br />March 20, 1984 <br />The Commissioners <br />Indian River County <br />1840 25th Street <br />Vero Beach, FL 32960 <br />Re.: Option to purchase dd 12.22.83, as attached <br />Option to purchase balance of oceanfront. <br />Gentlemen : <br />We hereby refer to our conversations relating to releases of the <br />above mentioned option(s). <br />In case the County would.not receive the necessary funds under the <br />"Save our Coast" -plan, or would,be unable to raise monies to purchase <br />the optioned properties within forseeable time to be within the limits <br />of the options, the Board would generously release Golden Sands Inter- <br />national Inc. from the obligations of those options. <br />We assume that this is the case now, and therefore would like to ask <br />the Board to kindly make a decision at their upcoming meeting of <br />Wednesday March 29th,1984. <br />We thank you for your efforts in this matter, and remain, <br />yours ver truly, <br />GOLD ?Q'E TONAL I3t. <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained the past history of <br />these options and reported that Mr. Deprez, President of <br />Golden Sands International Inc., is requesting the County to <br />release the options as there has been some interest shown by <br />prospective buyers. Attorney Brandenburg recommended that <br />the County release the options per our agreement with Golden <br />Sands that in the event these two properties did not make <br />the "Save Our Coasts" priority list and the County <br />52 <br />�s <br />
