recognized that it does not have the money or does not <br />anticipate having money to purchase them during the option <br />period, the County would voluntarily release the options. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bird, the Board <br />unanimously (4-0) authorized the release <br />of options on the Golden Sands properties, <br />as recommended by the County Attorney. <br />LETTER OF COMMITMENT FROM FLORIDA NATIONAL BANK FOR SR -60 <br />WATER LINE FINANCING - BOND ISSUES <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained that the County has been <br />working with a group of developers along SR -60 regarding a <br />water line to supply those developments and other potential <br />developments in that area with potable water from the <br />County's reverse osmosis plant at Oslo Road. For the last <br />month or so County's bond counsel has been working with <br />these developers, as well as several banks, on obtaining a <br />commitment to provide the funds to build that line The <br />County anticipates using about $800,000 of funds received <br />from the Farmers' Home Administration, along with the <br />$2 -million which will be derived from this commitment and <br />which will be paid back later through an assessment on the <br />properties of the developers who are requesting the service. <br />Attorney Sam Block, who is representing the developers, has <br />reported that certain changes have to be made to the <br />commitment, and he, therefore, suggested that we proceed <br />today on the basis that the general concept of the <br />commitment is acceptable to the County with the <br />understanding that any remaining difficulties will be worked <br />out with bond counsel to the County Attorney's satisfaction. <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained that Florida National <br />Bank will make the commitment only if the reserve funds and <br />53 <br />BooK 56 PAGE 595 <br />APR 4 "NeW <br />
