ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the <br />Board unanimously (3-0) agreed to forward <br />the above letter to the County Agricultural <br />Extension Agent with the request that they <br />contact those individuals who might be <br />affected by the County being declared a <br />disaster area because of crop losses <br />incurred after the -severe freeze in <br />December, 1983, and assist them in making <br />whatever applications are necessary. <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNING COMMITTEE REPORT <br />Vice Chairman Lyons gave the following summary of <br />actions taken at the Transportation Planning Committee <br />meeting of 4/10/84: <br />SUMMARY OF ACTIONS <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNING COMMITTEE <br />April 10,'1984 <br />1. Roadway Lighting Policy: <br />Committee approved report and procedure recommended by staff <br />to be used to determine need and County funding for street <br />lighting-. <br />2. Local Option Gas Tax: <br />Committee tabled enactment of additional gas tax indefinitely <br />until the effects of a new roadway impact fee ordinance are <br />determined. <br />3. Signalization - U.S. 1 at County Road 510 <br />a <br />Status report was received and accepted. Signal to be installed <br />by October, 1984 <br />4.
