So, you are talking about <br />1.2 million gallons of water for this cost. <br />Administrator Wright informed the Board that Cape Coral <br />lost their membranes totally recently, and we are working <br />with them to make sure what happened to them will not happen <br />to us. That was a multi-million dollar loss. <br />Attorney Brandenburg asked if the membranes are insured <br />in the event they should become fouled. Mr. Pinto did not <br />think so, and the Attorney felt we should look into this. <br />Commissioner Wodtke noted that the letter says we would <br />have to install the first seven by May of 1984, and Mr. <br />Pinto reported that staff has spoken to them and we can do <br />one rack this year and the other three in the following <br />year. Commissioner Wodtke commented that the letter refers <br />to seven, and Mr. Pinto explained that refers to racks and <br />permeators. <br />Commissioner Wodtke inquired how we pay for this, and <br />Mr. Pinto stated out of impact fees.
