Discussion took place as to how far the commercial <br />property south of the subject property extends. <br />Commissioners Bird and Wodtke felt that the County should <br />consider all of the area on down to the County line and that <br />possibly this matter should be tabled until such time that <br />both sides of the street could be rezoned to R-1 at the same <br />time. Administrator Wright recommended that the Board <br />approve this request today and assured the Commissioners <br />that the County would jump ahead to rezone the other side of <br />the street as quickly as possible. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bird, the Board <br />by a vote of 3-1, Commissioner Wodtke dissenting <br />and Commissioner Bowman being absent, approved the <br />County -initiated request as recommended by staff <br />and adopted Ordinance 84-31, rezoning Lots 1 <br />through 10, Block A , Oslo Park Subdivision Unit <br />No. 7, from C-1, Commercial District, to R-1, <br />Single -Family District, with the clear <br />understanding that the County will initiate <br />rezoning in the area to be compatible with this <br />rezoning. <br />36 <br />MAY 2 3 1994 BOOK 57 PAGE154 <br />L <br />
