a <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />(4-0) granted conceptual approval of the above <br />right-of-way abandonment; instructed the <br />Engineering Department to prepare construction <br />drawings of the proposed cul-de-sac on 40th <br />Ave. south of 14th St.; and authorized staff <br />to advertise for the required public hearings. <br />Attorney Brandenburg introduced a group of his <br />neighbors who attended the meeting and expressed their <br />appreciation of the Board action. <br />PROPOSED CHANGES TO SITE PLAN REVIEW PROCESS <br />Planning Director Keating reviewed the proposed changes <br />as set out in the following memo: <br />TO: The Honorable Members DATE: May 29, 1984 FILE: <br />of the Board of <br />County Commissioners <br />PROPOSED CHANGES TO <br />SUBJECT: SITE PLAN REVIEW <br />PROCESS <br />FROM: RMK REFERENCES: <br />Robert M. Proc. <br />Planning & Development.Director DIS:BUD. <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its <br />regular meeting of June 6, 1984._ <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Two issues have continually been presented to the Planning <br />Department as needing attention. These are the time required <br />for site plan approval and the definition of minor site plan. <br />Representatives of the development community have recently <br />requested that the staff address the problems of both exces- <br />sive site plan review time and the strict definition of minor <br />site plan. <br />49 <br />BOOK 57 PAGE 311 <br />
