JUN <br />2 0 <br />1994 <br />BOOK <br />57 <br />PnE 517 <br />that <br />the contract for construction must be in place <br />by <br />January lst if the County is going to fund this with a sales <br />tax, and Administrator Wright stated that what we are facing <br />is proceeding with the jail and not having the firm <br />financing in place until possibly November. <br />Chairman Scurlock emphasized that we have to formulate <br />an education process so that the voters know how much it <br />would cost to build the jail with a sales tax as opposed to <br />alternate financing methods.
