JUL 111984 <br />BOOK 57 <br />F,�r, d 05 <br />municipalities involved along the railroad corridors and <br />inform them that there will be a public hearing. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Bird, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman to authorize <br />the Attorney to draw up an ordinance as <br />discussed to submit to the municipalities <br />for their indications and concurrence before <br />a public hearing. <br />Public Works Director Davis reported that the <br />engineering staff contacted the DOT to clarify the word- <br />ing in the Statute, and the wording is such that it must be <br />a blanket regulation covering all crossings in the county. <br />Commissioner Bowman asked if we have any crossings that <br />are not signalized, and Mr. Davis felt there may be one. He <br />reported that there would be signage -requirements if the ban <br />were imposed. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously (4-0). <br />RESIGNATIONS FROM THE BEACH PRESERVATION & RESTORATION <br />COMMITTEE <br />Commissioner Wodtke informed the Board that he has <br />received letters of resignation from the above committee <br />from both Frederick Rouse due to the pressure of business <br />and from Kenneth W. Damerow due to the disclosure <br />requirement, and he hopes to have recommendations for <br />appointment of three individuals at the next meeting. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />(4-0) accepted the resignations of Frederick <br />
