r . <br />JUL 111994 7 r,,Jc 9 <br />Roll for the paving of 1st Place between 15th Ave. <br />and 20th Ave., at 12% interest rate per annum, as <br />recommended by Public Works Director Jim Davis. <br />SAID FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF <br />THE CLERK <br />DISCUSSION RE CAMPAIGN SIGNS ON RIGHT-OF-WAYS <br />Administrator Wright wanted to remind candidates that <br />it is illegal to place campaign signs in the County road <br />right-of-ways, and, they must be removed. <br />Chairman Scurlock felt that the County should not have <br />to spend money to take signs down at any time and thought <br />that candidates should have to post a bond to assure removal <br />of signs after the election. He pointed out that it <br />actually is illegal for candidates to post signs before they <br />have qualified. <br />Administrator Wright informed the Board that Supervisor <br />of Elections Rosemary Richey will be given a list of <br />campaign regulations for distribution to candidates. <br />In regard to the existing campaign signs around town, <br />the Commissioners agreed to wait until next week before <br />authorizing the removal of any signs on County road <br />right-of-ways. <br />Commissioner Bowman noted that there are still some <br />signs standing from the spring election. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - COUNTY INITIATED REQUEST TO REZONE 16.33 <br />ACRES FROM RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT <br />The hour of 9:15 o'clock A.M. having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the following Notice with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to wit: <br />14 <br />I <br />
