Final Assessment Roll, 1st Place - 15th Ave. to <br />20th Ave. <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 6/28/84: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of DATE: June 28, 1984 FILE: <br />the Board of County Commissioners <br />THROUGH: Michael Wright, <br />County Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Final Assessment Roll <br />1st Place - 15th Avenue to <br />20th Avenue <br />FROM:James W. Davis, P.E. REFERENCES: <br />o_ <br />Public Works Director <br />4. <br />z '" DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION <br />The paving of 1st Place is complete. The final cost and preliminary <br />t rv4 kff v _ <br />�r 'estimate for the work was (N.I.C. recording fees) : - - <br />//2dc , <br />-Final Cost/FF Prelim.Cost/FF Final Cost Prelim. Estimate- <br />1st Place $6.1683 a $7.88 $23,443.~66 $30,569.70 <br />`All construction costs are under the original estimates. The <br />Final Assessment Rolls have been prepared and are ready.to be <br />delivered to the Clerk'to the Board. Assessments are tobe paid <br />within 90 days or in two equal installments, the first -to be . <br />`'s made .twelve months from the due date and the second to be made <br />twenty-four months from the due date at the rate of interest'3 i; <br />'established by.the Board of County Commissioners. The dud .date <br />Is 90 days after the final determination of the special assessment. <br />The interest rate shall be 12% per annum. i^ <br />ALTERNATIVE AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessments to the benefited owners will be less <br />S,< than computed on the preliminary assessment rolls, the only <br />;'.alternative presented is to approve the final assessment rolls. <br />it RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that the Final Assessment Rolls for the paving <br />of 1st Place be approved by the Board of County Commissioners <br />and that they be transmitted to the Office of the Clerk to the <br />Board for collection. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, the Board <br />unanimously (3-0) approved the Final Assessment <br />13 <br />JUL 111984 Booz 57 <br />L <br />J <br />
