JUL 111984 BOOK 57 F'GE 651 <br />Attorney Block recalled that West Utilities had put up <br />an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of $650,000 <br />which will expire on August 1, 1984. They are asking that <br />it be allowed to die a natural death as they have come up <br />with a contractual agreement between the utility and the <br />property owners that if the bonds are not funded, they would <br />put all the assessment monies up by October 12, 1984. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bird, the Board <br />unanimously agreed to allow the $650,000 <br />irrevocable letter of credit to expire on <br />August 1, 1984. <br />Administrator Wright noted that letters of notice to <br />proceed on the construction of the waterline were issued <br />yesterday and Utilities Director Pinto anticipated that they <br />will be moving dirt in about two weeks. <br />Local realtor, Ray Scent, commended the County <br />Administration and the Commission on the cooperation they <br />have given to the developers in carrying out this project. <br />DISCUSSION RE PETITION PAVING - REQUESTED BY .LOUIS BIAMON <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 7/2/84: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of DATE: July 2, 1984 <br />the Board of County Commissioners <br />FILE: <br />THROUGH: Michael Wright, County Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Request by Residents of 19th AvenuE <br />S.W. between 13th Street S.W. and <br />14th Street S.W. for County to <br />Waive requirement for 66.6% of <br />Benefited Owners Signing Petition <br />for Street Paving <br />FROM: ,Tames W.
