� � s <br />V Relief factor calculated at 1.7. <br />bI The Assistant Jail Administrator would function as the jail's day shift <br />supervisor Monday through Friday. A replacement supervisor will be warranted <br />on weekends and in the absence of the Assistant which accounts for the <br />utilization of a relief factor. <br />At present, the Jail Administrator is able to use the services of the <br />Sheriff's Office clerks for recordkeeping functions. Should this practice be <br />discontinued, the clerk recommended in the above table will be necessary. <br />dl This staff member would function as the facility's multi-purpose officer in <br />that he or she would oversee all inmate programs' and services, laundry <br />operations, commissary, etc. While the Assistant Jail Administrator could <br />function in this capacity it is believed that the security requriements of <br />that position would limit the time and effort available for adequate program <br />supervision. <br />Footnotes continued on page two. <br />The previous staffing levels indicate that a minimum of six security <br />personnel will be available for each shift, seven (7) days a week with a normal <br />complement of 12 staff available on all weekdays.
