Mr. Bail <br />stated that is part of their normal specifications. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Bird, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, that the <br />Board approve the design development stage <br />for the new jail and authorize the start of <br />the next phase, construction documents, with <br />the understanding that there is no change from <br />the schematic design approved by the Jail <br />Committee. <br />Attorney Brandenburg asked if the County was current in <br />its payment for services, and Mr. Bail advised that they <br />have not been paid yet for the design development stage <br />which is now completed. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />The Motion was voted on and carried <br />unanimously. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board <br />unanimously approved a minimum staffing level <br />of 37 for the new jail. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bird, the Board <br />unanimously authorized Administrator Wright <br />to write a letter to the State outlining our <br />policy for medical care and the reason for not <br />having in-patient care in the jail facility. <br />47 <br />
