It was noted <br />this should be added under North County Fire District. <br />Administrator Wright informed the Board that he wished <br />to add three items for the Public Works Director, as <br />follows: <br />(1) Projects remaining under the 1983/84 Road Resurfacing <br />Program; <br />(2) A Change Order on the waterline on South Gifford Road <br />to extend the line to the Jail complex while we have a <br />contractor on site; and <br />(3) A bid on communication cable from the Courthouse to <br />the Administration Building, which the Clerk had <br />requested with a completion date of August 15th. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to give a brief report on his <br />trip to Tallahassee re the Save Our Coast Program, and it <br />was felt that was covered under Committee Reports. <br />Commissioner Lyons wished to add an item in regard to <br />authorizing the County Attorney to research ways to protect <br />citizens in the unincorporated area of the county from <br />unwarranted rate increases. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by. -Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />_ added the items listed above to the Agenda as <br />requested by the Chairman, the OMB Director, <br />the Administrator, and Commissioner Lyons. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Chairman Scurlock asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August <br />1, 1984. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />August 1, 1984, as written. <br />i � � <br />
