Goetzfried REFERENCES: Vero Grove <br />'MA Chief, Current Development Section DIS:MARYJ <br />It is recommended that the data herein presented be given <br />formal consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at <br />their regular meeting of September 26, 1984. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />In October of 1983, the Planning and Zoning Commission approved <br />the site plan application submitted by Michael O'Haire, on <br />behalf of Cardinal Groves, to construct a 420 unit multi -family <br />residential development. The project site is located between <br />U.S. Highway 1 and the Indian River, south of River Shores <br />Subdivision. <br />Due to the fact that finalization for water and sewer service <br />with the County Utilities Division and General Development <br />Utilities have not been completed, construction has not com- <br />menced. <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23(h)(1)(a) Appendix A of <br />the County Code, the applicant is requesting an extension of <br />site plan approval, which would allow construction to begin <br />within the next year. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of Michael O'Haire's request for a <br />one year extension of the site plan approval to construct Vero <br />Grove condominium complex. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, Commissioner Wodtke <br />being delayed, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />granted a one year extension of site plan <br />approval to Vero Grove Development Corp. as <br />recommended by staff. <br />�H.
