Scurlock, Chairman <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />1840 25th Street <br />Vero Beach, FL 32960 <br />Dear Chairman Scurlock: <br />Reference is made to our letter of December 5, 1984 (copy <br />attached) regarding the acquisition of the Hutchinson Utilities, Inc. <br />waste water system, construction of an effluent return line, and <br />connection to the municipal system of the City of Vero Beach. <br />Attached are signatures representing a majority of our property <br />owners who are in favor of the actions proposed in referenced letter. <br />To this end we ask the Commission to consider our request at the <br />County Commission meeting on December 12, 1,984 and we would appreciate <br />you authorizing your staff to work with us on agreements for presentation <br />to the various governmental bodies affected. <br />We again thank you and each of the Commissioners for your past <br />assistance on this matter. <br />Yours very truly, <br />MOORINGS OF VERO PROPERTY OWNERS ASSIN. <br />J <br />h <br />President <br />The Chairman stated that he put this on the agenda to get <br />the Board's reaction to what is being recommended. He reported <br />that with the letter Mr. White submitted a petition in favor of <br />the request signed by 484 property owners, which petition is on <br />file in the Office of the Clerk. <br />Bert Hambleton came before the Board representing the <br />property owners of The Moorings, as Mr. White was not able to be <br />present, and informed the -Board that they are continuing to <br />gather signatures and also are contacting absentee owners.
