taking this out of the development corporation and putting it <br />into a utility corporation. <br />Commissioner Wodtke was concerned that the language in this <br />new franchise might give the owner some figures which would <br />enable him to come in for a rate increase in the near future. <br />Director Pinto explained the controls the County has in <br />place to ensure fair rates. <br />Chairman Scurlock opened the Public Hearing and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously closed <br />the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 84-108, authorizing a transfer of ownership <br />and a change of franchise name granted in Resolution <br />83-66, and providing for certain modification to the <br />franchise agreement granted to Pelican Pointe <br />Utilities, Inc., water and wastewater franchise; with <br />the requirement that the franchisee reapply within one <br />year to substantiate their rate structure. <br />OR <br />DEC 19 1984 BOCK 59 ul"F 260 <br />� J <br />
