He did not feel <br />that the proposed bank/office building would adversely impact the <br />intersection to any major degree. <br />Commissioner Scurlock believed that when parking <br />requirements are met, there would a very low intensity use on <br />that corner with only one ingress and egress. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, that the Board reverse the <br />decision of the Planning & Zoning Commission in <br />approving the subject site plan, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />Chairman Lyons felt that as long as the corner remains C-1, <br />it is a bad spot no matter what we do to it. He did not feel <br />that the proposed use would be too bad, but to approve it would <br />not be consistent with what we have done on the other side of the <br />street. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION.
