Wednesday, February 6, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />February 6, 1985, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Gary <br />Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; L.S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; and Barbara <br />Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend G. P. LaBarre, Rector Emeritus, Trinity Episcopal <br />Church, gave the invocation, and Commissioner Bird led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright requested the addition to today's <br />Agenda of a discussion regarding the possible purchase of the <br />Southern Bell property. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition to today's <br />agenda of a discussion re a newspaper item on the County's <br />purchase of the Catron property for the new wastewater treatment <br />plant. <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested the following additions: <br />1) A discussion re the 3 -unit per acre moratorium on the barrier <br />island. <br />BOOK U9, 9 rn� F 74 <br />FEB 6 1985 <br />
