FEB 6 1985 BOOK 5 9 F,. 83 <br />Attorney Brandenburg understood then that this committee <br />will be an advisory board on the Fairgrounds for the rest of the <br />year; he noted that there is an existing County Fair Committee. <br />Firefighter Bill Tripp reported that everything has been <br />cleaned up out there since the Fair and expressed the <br />Firefighters' appreciation for the County's cooperation. He <br />believed that more parking space would be needed in the near <br />future. <br />Commissioner Bowman felt that it would be a mistake to let <br />the circus come in free, and Administrator Wright suggested that <br />matter be the first addressed by the new committee and that in <br />the meantime staff would advise the circus that there will be a <br />fee. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. The Motion <br />was voted on and carried unanimously, 4-0. <br />FIREARMS RANGE COMMITTEE <br />The Board reviewed the following resume: <br />EUGENE duPONT III <br />533 Indian Harbor Road <br />John's Island <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32963 <br />231-2720 <br />FIREARMS RANGE COMMITTEE <br />Member, Campfire Club (Big game hunters and sportsmen) <br />Member of various skeet clubs in Illinois, Michigan, Delaware, South <br />Carolina, Virginia, New York <br />Has hunted most of his life. <br />Hunted big game over most of the world.. <br />Commissioner Bird recommended the appointment of Eugene <br />duPont III to the Firearms Range Committee. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />appointed Eugene duPont II to the Firearms Range <br />Committee <br />67 <br />
