DISCUSSION RE CLOSING OF FELLSMERE GRADE AT 5-96 STRUCTURE Gj'LWO �J <br />d� <br />The Board reviewed the following letter dated 1/30/85:C--�* <br />Board of County <br />1840 25th St. <br />Vero Beach, Fla. <br />SPORTS.MANYS CLUB <br />FELLS MERE COMMUNITY CENTER <br />56 North Broadway <br />Fellamere, Florida 32948 <br />January 30, 1985 <br />Commissioners <br />32960 <br />Re: The closing of Fellsmere 3 rade at 5-96 Structure <br />Att: Pat Lyons <br />Dear Sir: <br />We are writing this letter to our County Commissioners asking that <br />they request a public hearing by the St. Johns dater Management District <br />reguarding above item. <br />On January 17, 1985 I attended a meeting on this subject in'delbourne <br />at the city hall, as we did not find out about this meeting until Jan. <br />16, we did not have time to notify the people of Indian River Co. I <br />requested a public hearing for our County at that meeting, but have <br />heard no further word. There were 6 people from our county to represent <br />this item on the agenda. <br />As there is approximately 39,000 acres.in Indian River County of <br />State owned land in the St. Johns Water l anagement District we feel it's <br />very important that our County sovernment have imput and knowledge of <br />the purposed plans for these lands as the decisions being made in Palatka <br />will have on-going effects on the people of this county. <br />If you want to put this on the agenda for February 6, I would be <br />happy to come befire the Commissioners with this request.
