I <br />FEB 2 U 1985 BOOK 59 c 915' —1 <br />presently are under a density limit of three units per acre. Mr. <br />Nutt's site plan got under the wire before our Comprehensive Plan <br />was adopted, and its density figure grossly exceeds the 3 units <br />per acre in the present moratorium. Mr. Cooper stated that, even <br />so, he still would support the site plan if he felt a good faith <br />effort had been made, but he felt it is inconceivable to claim <br />good faith when they have poured one foundation in four years. <br />He felt that regardless of what the developer is doing now, he <br />has not shown a good faith effort and any attempt to breathe life <br />into this "dead horse" is unfair to others and makes a mockery of <br />our ordinance. <br />Nancy Offutt came before the Board representing the Chamber <br />of Commerce and the Board of Realtors and noted that the Board <br />has received letters from these bodies indicating that there is a <br />lack of hotel space in the County and a fear that if the site <br />plan were rescinded, it would be impossible for one to be <br />constructed.
