r <br />M <br />Director Davis noted that it is also necessary to adopt the <br />authorizing Resolution, approve the preliminary assessment roll, <br />award the bid, etc. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />adopted Resolution 85-26, authorizing paving and <br />drainage improvements to 16th St. between 58th Ave. <br />and 51st Court; approved the preliminary assessment <br />roll; awarded the bid to low bidder Dennis L. Smith, <br />Inc., in the amount of $115,236.15; and authorized <br />the allocation of 50% of the cost from the Petition <br />Paving Fund, the remaining 20% to be taken from the <br />5th & 6th Cent Gas Tax monies. <br />Chairman Lyons felt we need to be more specific regarding <br />the assessment roll. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />approved the preliminary assessment roll as <br />adjusted per the changed ratio and with adjustments <br />to residents in Silver Oaks Estates and the Perkins <br />property as di.scussed; accepted the engineering <br />contribution of the Schlitt group; and agreed the <br />interest is to be 1% above the prime rate at the <br />time of the approval of the final roll. <br />( Resolution 85-26 and the adjusted assessment roll is <br />hereby put on file -in the office of the Clerk. ) <br />MAR 6 1985 5 9 BOOK U"0 [". c 100 <br />
