Russ, whom has a pool room at 4586 1st Street, is <br />requesting permission from the Honorable Members of the Board of <br />County Commissioners to pay water impact fees on an installment <br />plan. The cost for Mr. Russ to receive County water will be <br />$1,295.00: <br />Impact Fee $1,140.00 <br />Meter Installation 115.00 <br />Deposit 40.00 <br />Total $1,295.00 <br />If the Board of County Commissioners deems that an installment <br />plan is appropriate, then the Utility Department would like to <br />propose the following terms: <br />The impact fee $1,140.00 be paid over a 60 month install- <br />ment period at an interest rate of 11}Z. The monthly <br />payment will be $25.08 and the first payment is due <br />immediately. The customers entail cash outlay will be as <br />follows: <br />Meter Installation $ 115.00 <br />Deposit 40.00 <br />First Installation 25.08 <br />Entail Cash Outlay $ 180.08 <br />59 Month Installments At 25.08 <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />1. The Honorable Board of County Commissioners allow Mr. Russ <br />to pay impact fees on 5 year installment plan. <br />2. The Honorable Board of County Commissioners disallow <br />Mr. Russ to pay impact fees on a 5 year installment plan. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Utility Department recommends the Honorable Board of County <br />Commissioners allow Mr. Russ to pay impact fees on an installment <br />basis under the terms set for above. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to allow Merrill Russ to pay water <br />impact fees on a 5 -year installment plan as <br />recommended by staff. <br />14 <br />
