wished it affirmed that we are only saying we have no objections <br />as long as this land is utilized in the LD -1 category. <br />Director Keating agreed the memo probably should have been <br />titled differently. <br />Commissioner Scurlock inquired about the impact on Jungle <br />Trail and the Town setbacks. <br />Planner Shearer felt they are the same as in our new RS -3; <br />the Town's R -1A, however, will require a 15,000 sq. ft. minimum <br />lot size whereas RS -3 only requires 12,000. He believed the Town <br />has taken action to acquire additional setbacks along Jungle <br />Trail. <br />Attorney Brandenburg noted that when the County realigned <br />Jungle Trail for Florida Land Co., it was done based on a 50' <br />setback, in which there could only be plantings, fences or walls <br />- no structures, and the applicant, has agreed to the same type <br />of setback. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to know if Florida Land has started <br />stabilization, and the Attorney did not know, but noted that they <br />have bonded this off. <br />Commissioner Lyons and Commissioner Bowman had questions <br />about the enclaves and the actual boundaries of the Town of <br />Indian River Shores. <br />Planner Shearer confirmed that there are a large amount of <br />enclaves in this area, probably over 100 acres. He believed this <br />was set up when the Town originally established its boundaries. <br />Everyone agreed it was very confusing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner.
