� � r <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Ordinance 85-30 amending the Comprehensive <br />Plan providing for biannual review of Land Use <br />Plan amendment petitions. <br />ORDINANCE # 85 - 30 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING THE <br />TEXT OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLA14 PERTAINING TO LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENTS; <br />PROVIDING FOR BIANNUAL REVIEW AND EVALUATION OF <br />LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT PETITIONS; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />SECTION 1 <br />Page 18 of the Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENTS <br />The County recognizes that urban growth will necessitate <br />changing land use considerations. The County shall, therefore, <br />review and evaluate land use amendment petitions eaee twice per <br />year at-the-begaag-a-eaeh-peas.
