APR 10 1985 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved the amended agreement between IRC and <br />Water Services of America, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />authorized the Notice to Proceed on Rack #1. <br />Attorney Brandenburg advised that the warranty will <br />begin on the date of installation and acceptance by the <br />County. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK <br />DISCUSSION - ST. JOHNS RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT - RE <br />FELLSMERE GRADE AND POSSIBLE SITE FOR FUTURE FIREARMS RANGE <br />Chairman Lyons announced that a workshop meeting is <br />scheduled for May 6th at 3:00 P.M. with our staff, St. Johns <br />River Water Management District, Florida Department of <br />Transportation and the Florida Turnpike Authority to discuss <br />the Fellsmere Grade road. He wished to schedule a <br />preliminary meeting with staff on how we stand in this <br />matter prior to the workshop meeting as he felt we still <br />want to have the option of having that road built when the <br />County grows to its maximum. There is a question of exactly <br />where the area is that the Water District plans to flood. <br />The hunters believe that they plan to flood a stickmarsh <br />that is one of the last good hunting areas left in the <br />County. Chairman Lyons wished to see more studies made by <br />our environmental staff and the Florida Game & Freshwater <br />Fish Commission to see whether or not this proposal might be <br />12 <br />BOOK `'FK 443 <br />
