In <br />any event, the budget would be set every year. <br />Chairman Lyons asked if Mr. Bradley had any statement to <br />make for Mr. Ansin, and Director Davis believed the indications <br />right now is that we are looking at the possibility of using that <br />fill if the assessment goes to $100 per parcel/acre. The <br />question is whether we have a source that is suitable, and Mr. <br />Bradley feels that we do. <br />John Bradley had no comment except to state that they will <br />pursue this after Mr. Ansin returns to town. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />GOLF COURSE FEASIBILITY STUDY REPORT & RECOMMENDATION <br />Commissioner Bird introduced the members of the Golf Course <br />Study Committee present, noting that the Committee feels <br />comfortable with the report and is ready to make the final <br />presentation. <br />Committee member Ron Fanaro read the final presentation <br />aloud, as follows: <br />TO:Dodr r County 1985 <br />Commissioners DATE: u ullu FILE: <br />SUBJECT: Golf Course Feasibility <br />Study Committee Report <br />FROM: Golf Course Feasibilit)NEFERENCES: <br />Study Committee <br />Since its appointment over one year ago, the Golf Course <br />Feasibility Study Committee has worked effectively in research <br />and investigation of various aspects of public golf' course <br />development and operation. It has been especially active through <br />subcommittee groups in collecting information regarding pertinent <br />cost data, and various component elements that we felt should be <br />considered. After preliminary research and investigation, it was <br />our opinion that such a project would be feasible for Indian <br />River County, and whereupon we recommended a formal feasibility <br />study to be conducted by the National Golf Foundation, who is <br />considered to be extremely knowledgeable and objective in this <br />area. <br />40 <br />
