BOOK 61 FnUE..403 <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, that the Board authorize <br />staff to include the above comments in the letter <br />to the DER re Florida Land Company's permit application <br />#31-104842-4 for walkway and dock. <br />Chairman Lyons believed that, in effect, the Board's <br />position could be interpreted as an objection, and Commissioner <br />Bowman hoped that it would. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. The Motion was <br />voted on and carried unanimously (4-0). <br />GENERAL DEVELOPMENT UTILITIES WATER PURCHASE AGREEMENT <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 6/18/85: <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE HONORABLE DATE: JUNE 18, 1985 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />SUBJECT: GENERAL DEVELOPMENT <br />UTILITIES WATER PURCHASE <br />AGREEMENT <br />FROM: TERRANC JINTO <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />General Development Utilities, Inc. (hereafter referred to as "GDU") <br />entered into a Water Purchase Agreement with Indian River County on Decem- <br />ber 7, 1983 (Exhibit A), whereby Indian River County agreed to furnish <br />water to GDU pursuant to said agreement. <br />GDU has now completed final documents for said Water Purchase Agreement by <br />execution of a First Addendum conveying upon completion the entire line <br />from the County plant to the point of connection to Indian River County by <br />appropriate instrument as determined by the County Attorney's office. GDU <br />shall concurrently deed to Indian River County any and all easements <br />necessary for waterline and master meter placement to the point of con- <br />nection. <br />The location and size of the waterline are shown in Aerial Site Plans <br />(Exhibit B) . <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of the First Addendum to Water Purchase Agree- <br />ment. <br />41 <br />
