EMERGENCY ITEM - PURCHASE OF LOWBOY TRAILER <br />Administrator Wright explained to the Board that when staff <br />tried to replank the existing lowboy trailer, it was found that <br />it had structural cracks as much as an inch wide and it was no <br />longer safe to use to transport county equipment. This is the <br />only such trailer we have, and the Administrator requested that <br />he be authorized to acquire another lowboy trailer, either new or <br />used, on an emergency basis. He stated .that staff will bring the <br />information on this back to the Board. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously authorized <br />the Administrator to proceed with the purchase of <br />a lowboy trailer as described above. <br />INSTALLMENT PAYMENT OF WATER IMPACT FEE (WILLIAMS) <br />The Board reviewed staff memo as follows: <br />TO: THE HONORABLE BOARD OF DATE: <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: WRANCE G. PINTO SUBJECT: <br />FROM: JOSEPH BAIRD <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />AUGUST 12, 1985 <br />IVEY WILLIAMS, JR., <br />PAYING WATER IMPACT FEE <br />ON THE INSTALLMENT PLAN <br />Mr. Ivey Williams, Jr. is the owner of a commercial property located on Old <br />Dixie Highway. Severe well problems recently developed at the above <br />referenced property and Mr. Williams will be forced to hook onto the County <br />water system. Mr. Williams has expressed that at this time he cannot <br />financially afford to pay the water impact fees in one lump sum payment. <br />He is therefore requesting permission from the Honorable Board of County <br />Commissioners to pay these fees on an installment basis.
