Wednesday, September 4, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />September 4, 1985, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey <br />K. Barton, OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Gary Moore, Assistant Pastor First Presbyterian <br />Church, gave the invocation, and Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright wished to add approval of the purchase <br />of a 35 ton trailer for Road 8 Bridge for which staff was <br />authorized to receive emergency quotations. <br />The Administrator also wished to add two items requested by <br />the Sheriff - a request for funds for office supplies for his <br />Sebastian office, and a request for a full-time baliff for the <br />Courthouse. <br />OMB Director Barton announced that he wished to remove Item <br />7B re abandoned property from the agenda as there has been a <br />request from another County agency for this old equipment. <br />The Budget Director then reported that there was a typo in Item <br />613 and handed out a corrected memo. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the addition of a letter from St. <br />Johns River Water Management District, and it was suggested this <br />be added as part of Item 10. <br />SEP 41985 <br />B 61 F,�r� <br />
