Modifications to the parking area will include: <br />a) reconfiguration of the parking lot layout; <br />b) pavement of the driveway aisles; <br />c) establishment of a stormwater management system in <br />conformance with Chapter 211 of the County Code; and <br />d) landscaping in compliance with the County's <br />requirements. <br />The church, which was originally approved and constructed in <br />1979, is located 760' north of South Gifford Road on 38th <br />Avenue. <br />Due to difficulties in obtaining financing, St. Peter's was not <br />able to begin construction prior to the expiration of site plan <br />approval. Prior to expiration of the site plan and pursuant to <br />the provisions of Section 23 (h) (1) (a) of Appendix A, Zoning, of <br />the Indian River County Code of Laws and Ordinances, St. Peter's <br />requested a 1 year extension of site plan approval. No County <br />ordinances have been adopted, subsequent to the August 9, 1984 <br />site plan approval, which would require any on-site improvements <br />in addition to those currently depicted on the site plan. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of St. Peter's Missionary Baptist <br />Church's request for a 1 year extension of site plan approval. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />a one year extension of site plan approval for <br />St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church. <br />H. Request Authorization to Sell County -Owned Property <br />The Board reviewed memo of Director Thomas, as follows: <br />TO: Board of County - DATE:FILE: <br />Commissioners August 20, 1985 <br />SUBJECT: Sale of County owned <br />property <br />FROM: T�EFiENCES: <br />o o ernmen al Rela nrec or <br />Ivey L. Williams, Jr., by letter, has expressed an interest <br />in purchasing County owned property located north of 42nd Street, <br />west of the Florida East Coast Railway and at the southern end of <br />24th Avenue.
