Vice Chairman Scurlock believed that a lot of the road study <br />can be done in-house and felt that if you make a drainage <br />improvement, it is also necessary to pave the road next to it so <br />it will drain. Commissioner Bird agreed that the road network is <br />already pretty well established. <br />Commissioner Wodtke was also concerned as to whether the <br />money generated by the $15.00 assessment would be enough to do an <br />effective drainage study because if it were not, the study would <br />have to be done over two years. <br />Commissioner Bird pointed out that this is the first budget <br />hearing, and the second will be next Wednesday after the proposed <br />$15 levy will be advertised. If anyone wants it lower or higher, <br />they can make this known at the next meeting. <br />THE VICE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION.
