e <br />!x <br />Planner Boling explained that these people will actually own <br />the lot and the building; it is not a rental situation. <br />Attorney William Caldwell appeared on behalf of the <br />developer and stated that they would like to be able to leave the <br />trees and wish to know how to go about this. <br />Director Keating explained that before any permits to do the <br />work can be issued, they have to submit construction drawings and <br />then it will be determined how this can be done. <br />Attorney Caldwell wished to know what the Public Works <br />Director will do about the 6' clearance of the trees. <br />Director Davis noted that he will do whatever the Board <br />directs, but emphasized that on this particular project the <br />drainage is an open swale design, and this will make it difficult <br />to save all the trees. <br />Commissioner Scurlock noted that the intent -is simply to <br />save as many trees as possible. <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked if we have an established <br />drainage survey for this whole area adjacent to the college. He <br />felt this project will be in the crux of that drainage problem <br />and believed there are no rear lot easements at all in some of <br />these neighborhoods.
