r <br />OCT 21985 BOOK 62 PACE <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or <br />additions to the Minutes of the Special Meeting of September 4, <br />1985. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Minutes of the Special Meeting of September 4, <br />1985,"as written. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright informed the Board that he would like <br />to remove items D and L from the Consent Agenda in order to add <br />some minor items to them. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the removal of Items A and K <br />for discussion, and Commissioner Bowman asked that Item H be <br />removed. <br />A. City of Vero Beach Annexation Ordinance 85-26 <br />Ordinance 85-26 of the City of Vero Beach, annexing <br />property into the City limits, which property is <br />generally located contiguous to the East boundary of <br />the City fronting on 17th St. and 3rd Court, was re- <br />ceived and placed on file in the Office of the Clerk. <br />Commissioner Scurlock informed the Board that he has had <br />J <br />rP <br />a _. <br />number of people from the Rockridge area come to him and express <br />a great deal of concern about this item. We have had drainage <br />and traffic problems in this general vicinity for quite a while, <br />and the adjacent residents who still live in the unincorporated <br />area are very concerned about the impact of the site plan that <br />will be adopted by the City of Vero Beach. He, therefore, would <br />like to be able to authorize the Chairman to write a letter to <br />the Ci.ty of Vero Beach identifying our concerns in terms of both <br />drainage and traffic patterns. <br />2 <br />
