Assess damage to wildlife populations and habitat <br />resulting from a hazardous materials incident. <br />b. Coordinate with other appropriate federal and state <br />authorities any action deemed necessary, or required, <br />for the protection of endangered or threatened species. <br />C. Provide support for law enforcement and search and <br />rescue operations. <br />2.3.10 Department of Military Affairs <br />a. Underthe direction of the Governor, activate the Florida <br />National Guard to aid the civil authorities whenever the <br />civil authorities are unable to contain the emergency. <br />b. Support state agencies and local governments on a <br />mission -type basis during emergency operations. <br />2.3.11 Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services <br />a. Coordinate the sheltering of persons affected by a <br />hazardous materials incident. <br />b. Assist in the identification of possible health hazards <br />related to hazardous materials incidents and take <br />corrective action as needed. <br />C. Assist in solving problems affecting drinking water or <br />food supplies contaminated by hazardous materials. <br />d. Provide response to all emergencies associated with <br />radioactive materials or ionizing radiation. <br />2.3.12 Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services <br />a.
