REQUEST TO SET PUBLIC HEARING FOR GIFFORD IMPROVEMENTS <br />Commissioner Scurlock informed the Board that all discussion <br />held with Gifford representatives has indicated they wish to <br />expand even further. <br />It was agreed to set the public hearing for Gifford <br />improvements at the next available meeting upon receipt of the <br />Letter of Conditions from the FmHA. <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNING COMMITTEE REPORT <br />Commissioner Scurlock reviewed the following summary of <br />actions of the Transportation Planning Committee meeting of <br />October 15, 1985, and stated that he would like a Motion to <br />accept the Committee recommendations. <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNING COMMITTEE <br />10-15-85 <br />Summary of Actions <br />1. Traffic Impact Fee Ordinance Study: <br />Committee unanimously approved reports 2 (Orchid Island <br />Analysis), and 3 (Long-range Major Street and Highway <br />Program.) <br />2. County Road 512 Corridor: <br />Committee discussed future alternatives for improvements to <br />CR -512, and heard from interested citizens. No action was <br />taken or proposed until traffic conditions warrant <br />improvements in the future. <br />3.
