Florida Land Company - Call of Bond, Stabilization of <br />Jungle Trail <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/5/85: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners ATE: December 5, 1985 FELE: <br />SUBJECT: FLORIDA LAND COMPANY <br />LETTER OF CREDIT #082 <br />FROM: REFERENCES: <br />Bruce Barkett <br />Assistant Coun y Attorney <br />On June 6th, 1984, the Board of County Commissioners entered into <br />an agreement -whereby Indian River County agreed to locate a <br />portion of Jungle Trail. Florida Land Company agreed to design <br />and implement a shoreline stabilization project to prevent erosion <br />along the banks of the Indian River adjacent to the roadway. <br />Florida Land Company was required to submit an Irrevocable Letter <br />of Credit in the amount of $20,000.00 to guarantee its compliance`' <br />with the agreement. The Letter of Credit expires December 15th, <br />1985. Florida Land Company has not complied with the agreement, <br />and although there is some indication that Florida Land Company is <br />in the process of selling the property involved, the Board of <br />County Commissioners is advised to adopt the attached Resolution <br />and to draw upon the Irrevocable Letter of Credit immediately. <br />
