M-12 <br />s"91 <br />Director Dean stated that Alternative #1 is the best bet on <br />a temporary basis and informed that Board that since this memo <br />was written we need to add 5001, which would be 6,677' and <br />increase the cost to $40,062. This is an annual amount. He <br />explained that this space would be needed for everyone now on the <br />third floor, except Engineering and Probation - it would include <br />Welfare, the Housing Authority, Veterans Service, Agricultural <br />Extension, and Soil Conservation <br />Frank Zorc came before the Board and noted that staff's memo <br />stated that his building, which is near completion, would require <br />major modifications, and he would like some details on what this <br />means as he did not feel that was the case. <br />Director Dean noted that Lynn Williams, Superintendent of <br />Buildings 6 Grounds, looked into this and he was not sure what he <br />meant. <br />Mr. Zorc continued that his building is ready for drywall, <br />and it can be modified as desired very easily at this stage. He. <br />also wished to point out the following advantages of his <br />building; <br />a. Less congestion at the location; <br />b. No parking fines in the lease; <br />c. No restrictions on your parking; <br />d. No restrictions on the key being available; there would <br />be access 24 hours a day and no conflict with any other <br />tenants. <br />Mr. Zorc stated that all other lease conditions would be the <br />same and he would lower his cost to $5.90 a square foot. He <br />continued that he could provide 4800 sq, ft, by the end of <br />January and within 60 days after that could bring this up to <br />8,000 sq. ft. <br />Commissioner Bowman asked if it was planned to run computer <br />cable over to the 2001 Building and was informed that was not <br />planned for either building. <br />Ma rsha I I Sutton spoke representing the 2001 Building and <br />stated that he did not come here prepared to get into a bidding <br />war; he did not anticipate one and did not think this is the <br />102 <br />
