BARTON, ASSISTANT <br />DIRECTOR, UTILITY SERVICES <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />DATE: DECEMBER 11, 1985 <br />SUBJECT: ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES STATE ROAD 60 <br />SEWER PROJECT <br />Attached is Work Authorization Number 6 from the Joint Venture of <br />Carter/Williams, Hatfield & Stoner for additional engineering <br />services on the State Road 60 Sewer Project. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners review <br />and approve Work Aughorization Number 6 with the understanding <br />that this is an estimate only and actual fees will vary depending <br />on any future change orders and possible site problems. <br />Commissioner Wodtke wished to know if any of this work has <br />been done as the letter from Carter Associates is dated August <br />19th, and if so, whether we owe them anything. <br />Administrator Wright informed the Board that this was an <br />oversight by staff. The work was done; the work was reasonable; <br />and the Administrator accepted the responsibility for this coming <br />to the Board late. <br />Commissioner Wodtke wished to know how much we owe the <br />engineers. <br />Assistant Utilities Director Barton reported that we owe <br />them about $27,000 so far for the work they have done on <br />residential inspections. <br />Commissioner Wodtke stated that he would appreciate it when <br />the item comes to the Board after the fact, that the memo does <br />15 <br />c <br />Bm 63 15 <br />
