U84-2 to U85 -S2 (County) 2130-2 & 5 (Carter/WHS) <br />TITLE: INDIAN RIVER COUNTY REGIONAL WASTEWATER COLLECTION/TRANS- <br />MISSION/TREATMENT <br />I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />The Consultant is to provide a resident project <br />representative (RPR) for observation of construction by <br />various Contractors for the Site Work, S. R. 60 and Treatment <br />Plant projects. The services shall include advise and <br />assistance to the County regarding methods of installation, <br />and assurance of conformance with the design concepts as <br />defined by the contract plans and documents. <br />Resident Project Representative <br />During the construction phase the consultant shall provide a <br />Resident Project Representative at the site to observe the <br />work. The duties of the RPR shall be in accordance with <br />Exhibit "A" of the Agreement for Professional Services. The <br />services of the RPR are intended for the total construction <br />contract time of 390 days (calander days). Any delays causing <br />the construction contract to extend beyond the contract com- <br />pletion date will be billed as additional services. This Work <br />Authorization is being prepared with the stipulation that an <br />RPR will be required on a full time basis. If the contractor <br />employed by the Owner performs the work in a manner that <br />required additional on-site services the Consultant may <br />recommend additional RPR services and negotiate with the <br />Owner for these additional services. <br />16 <br />
